On the 2nd of May, World Asthma Day was held to improve the awareness around asthma and the care of this condition internationally.
World Asthma Day is an annual event that is organised by the Global Initiative for Asthma (GINA) and events took place globally to celebrate the event and help educate around this common illness. Supported by The Asthma Association of Ireland, the event takes place on first Tuesday in May each year.
It was wonderful to see the images of communities in the different corners of the world partaking in World Asthma Day and we really value the impact of such health-focused campaigns.
